Hazrat Ali Karam Ullah Wajhu was born on 13th Rajab, 24BH at Mekka and expired on 21st Ramadan, 40 AH at Kufa (Iraq). He has the unique honor being the only man who born in Baiut Ullah (the holiest place for the Muslims). He was the son of the Hazar Abu Talib the real uncle of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon Him). Hazrat Muhamamd (Peace Be upon Him) Himslef brought him up like a son. According to the Sunni Muslim He is the 4th Khalifa and Shia Muslim consider him the 1st Khalifa of the Muslims. He was the first child who accepted Islam at the age of 10 years. He is also named as Abul Haasan and Abu Turab. He has the titles of Asad Ullah, (means the lion of Allah), Haider -i- Qarar and Murtaza. His mother’s name was Fatima Bint-i-Asad the Nobel lady.

On the occasion of the migration of Hazarat Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Mekka to Madina when the Quresh-i-Mekka suurounded the house of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) for the purpose of his His assassination, then Hazrat Ali was commanded by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to sleep on his bed and come to Madina after handing over their assets to the Quresh. Hazrat Ali obeyed the Orders of Muhammad (peace be upon him) whithout any hesitation in such an awkward situation when even his life was in danger.

Hazrat Ali was married with Hazrat Fatima( R.A) the daughter of the Muhamamd (peace be upon him). Hazrat Imam Hasssan (A.S) and Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) who has the highest place in Islam was the sons of Hazrat Ali (R.A.)

Hazart Al (R.A) was very brave and took part mostly in all the battles fought agaisnt the Islam before and after the migration of the Muslims from Mekka to Madina even led the warrior parties. There are many famous stories of his bravery in general but the conquer of the strongest Jewish fort Qumus  during the battle of khyber is in particular.
Hazrat Ali (R.A) was the greatest scholar, warrior and  jurist. Hazrat Muhamamd (peace be upon him) said, “ I am the city of of knowledge and Ali is the gate of knowledge”. He also has the status of the Qazi the justice. He was also famous for his generosity. He has the highest place for his courage, knowledge,  belief,  devotion and having the spirit of unique sacrifices for lslam.
