People are more intelligent and were commanded by God to take authority over the earth, counting the animal empire, because mankind was made in the figure of God. Body, soul and spirit. Animals only have bodies and souls. The soul is the mind, will & emotions. Mankind, if born-again, has the ability to have association with God and live everlastingly with Him in His realm.
