5 Famous River of Pakistan

1. River Indus:

The Indus River is the most famous, major and the longest river in Pakistan. It origins in Lake Mansaroor, Tibet and finally after running across the country through Khyber Pakhtunkha, Punjab and Sindh Provinces flows into the Arabian Sea. In Khyber Pakhtoonkha province it is named as Abaseen which means the Father of the rivers. It displays a tidal bore and the river system is fed mainly by glaciers and snow of the Himalayas.

Flow of the river is fluctuated according to the seasons,  being lower in winter, and over flowing its banks in monsoon season,  from July to September 1. The formation of the embryonic Indus River, South Asia’s main source of surface water, may be began 50 million years ago when the Indian plate, Gondwanaland collided with Eurasia for the first time. Beautiful Scenes Which You Always Like to See

1.   The Kaghan Valley is a beautiful one whchich is situated in the north-east of Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. The tourists from all over the world visit here.  The earthquake disaster adversely affected its population on 8 October 2005.
The Kaghan valley is named after the town of Kaghan in spite of the Kunhar River which flows through the length of the valley. The valley extends 155 k77m, rising from an elevation of 2,134 feet (650 m) to its highest point, the Babusar Pass, at 13,690 feet (4,170 m).  Hindko and Gojri are popular languages of this area however, Urdu being national language is also familiar among the locals. The region is Alpine in geography and climate, with forests and meadows dominating the landscape below peaks that reach over 17,000 feet
