The main reason of the wars is the desire of the powerful nations to dominate the weak nations and the results of the wars are extremely destructive. Presently there are no conventional and traditional wars; this is time of Nuclear Technology i.e. the Atomic Bombs, Hydrogen Bombs, Missiles and Rockets. In addition there is Modern Chemical Weapons and the Drone attacks etc. which are caused the destruction on large Scale. During the World War-II USA used the Atomic Bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima the cities of Japan. Both the cities were totally ruined and their effects are still exist after passing such a longer period. The residents of those cities are facing diseases until now. War has always caused negative effects for both the sides. There is really never in a war, except the fact that capturing the enemy’s land or killed the tyrant.
In a war, a country must expend a lot of money to launch troops, supplies, artillery (tanks, rockets, missiles). This money could have been spent in giving more homeless children food or better education for children.
On top of that, in a war many innocent people are killed or disabled mostly by bombs. Countries usually go into a huge debt after a war has taken place. War hardly has positive effects; the negative effects outweigh them extremely adversely. In a war, many landmarks and resources are destroyed. Soldiers are died, hence the population is reduced. Families are broken up, brothers lose brothers, mothers lose sons etc.
The natural beauty is destroyed, towns that have to flourish on its visitors attractions lose its attraction and attractive sites are empty after an army tramples through.
The effects of the war focus on the lives of the people living in the country that is ravaged by the war. There can be political turmoil, civil unrest, and the economy would go upside down. The confidence of the people would be very low. The example is Iraq during the anti-terrorism movement and Germany and Japan during World War 2. Iraq has a civil disturbances where people demonstrated at the streets and blowing up stuff. In Germany, they lost their homes and some historic buildings. In Japan, they lost their homes, and their Honor which is important to them. In Philippines, after World War 2, when the Americans left it to assimilate Japan, they left there the broken lands and buildings and homes.
Civil war has a negative impact on economic growth of victimized countries. The rate of growth of the capital stock is reduced as civil war drives down domestic investment. In particular, civil wars reduce private investment because private agents are better capable to respond to increases in the uncertainty of the economic environment.
It is concluded that the results of the wars are the starvation, innocent deaths, disability, poverty, violence, and reduction of population, destruction of resources, political unrest and crash of economy.
