General Information About All Household Insects and Other Insects Species

1

Insects, the most diverse class of invertebrates, that live on earth. Scientists and researchers Have classified these insects into several groups according to their nature. About one million species of insects are known out of the total 6 to 10 million insect species. The scientists say conserving the greatest possible number of species across the globe remains vital. Insects represent approximately 80 percent of the world’s species. They are the largest group of living organisms on this globe. Insects are the only invertebrates found on the earth that have wings. They are the most successful insects by the ability of their  flying and moving to the other habitats.

Most of the scientists agree that there are still many species that have not been recognized. They have estimated that  figure of unknown species is about 2 million. But They also say that this figure can be extends up to many millions. As only about 10,000 new species are identified annually, it could take another four centuries to identify the rest, if they survive that long.
Insect
Insects are the most wonderful organisms, found throughout the world. There are many species of insects that live on the surface of the open ocean, walking on the water tension using their tiny leg hairs. According to the scientists, many types of species, existing today are the same as they prevailed in some 200 million years ago. Their enormous biological success is attributed to their small size, their high reproductive rate.
Insect
Species of insect range in size from 0.139 mm or about 0.00547 in  inches to 55.5 cm or 21.9 inches in stick insects, with most falling between 0.5 mm (0.02 in) and 50 mm (2 in). Stick insects are among the best camouflaged of all creatures, with a body shape that mimics the branches of their home. these insects are called walking sticks with a size of half inch.
Insect
Insects are classified into 29 classes according to their living habitats and their characteristics. For example, cockroaches belong to Blattodea class and bees, ants belong to Hymenoptera class. Body of insect is divided into three parts, Head, thorax and abdomen. They have an external shell called exoskeleton that protects the body.
Insect
Only Caterpillars class have more than three pairs of legs while all the rest have three pairs of legs. The insect have a pair of antenna on their heads. Most of the insects have wings while some have no wings. Insects feed on other, smaller insects and decaying leaf and plant matter. Insects can be find as walking, swimming and flying or jumping. They continuously change and evolve themselves according to the changing climate.
Insect
A great number of factors have played a vital role in the large quantity of these insects, such as their geological history, their small sizes, their ability of storing sperms and wings that allow them to move to various habitats. Small insects have remarkable fertility and reproductive abilities.
