First of all I would like to throw light on why beekeeping  is essential? Because of being easy source of income and the only source of making honey which has uncountable benefits. According to a Hadith, The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The honey is the treatment of every disease except death”.

There are numerous uses and benefits of beekeeping like provision of honey, betterment of environment, increasing in pollination which causes increasing of flowers, vegetables, fruits and all the other gardening products.  

It is very beneficial for health having possession of anti-bacterial and anti-microbial qualities is also very effective for wound treatment, particularly for burns. It is also used in hair and skin beautifier in recipes for shampoos, face masks and bath oils among other things.

It is necessary, you must not allergic to bee stings but also be fond of it. In case you have a garden,  then beekeeping is very easy task to you. However, you can bee keeping even without garden. Now, even the people of the cities keep bees on rooftops and balconies etc. There are may ways and sources of bee keeping in the cities for its nectar like in parks, community gardens, outside florist shops and tree lined streets etc. That is why, many people are of the opinion that city bees are more productive of better honey comparing to those kept in the countryside due to such a constant flow of varied nectar from all the above mentioned sources. While there are large tracts of land in the Rural areas where only one crop is grown in a year which is not sufficient for the honey bee.

You can start bee keeping with the little investment, however, you must have awareness and knowledge of the basic  beekeeping equipment’s and a lot of keenness. Beekeeping is a very short time job and you require only a few hours per week to look after the honey bees. It is dual beneficial for you apart to earning money, you are also making efforts for the existence of honey bee while this wonderful insect is in crisis now.
